Update on claiming VAT back on Assistive Technology:

Hi Everyone, just an update about claiming VAT back on assistive technology. When an individual

with DCD/Dyspraxia, a Specific Learning Difficulty and/or Autism Spectrum Disorder buys a laptop or

tablet and software/hardware required to use it you may claim tax back (at present, approximately

23%).

You will need:

        A letter from the school saying the student needs this for their day to day activities

       Original invoice (VAT detailed)

       The device/software/hardware must be for the exclusive use of that person

       To complete form VAT 61A
